NRAI Celebrates the Election of Indian Officials to ISSF Committees
The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) is proud to announce the election of two of its esteemed office bearers to key positions in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Committees. This remarkable achievement underscores the global recognition of Indian expertise in the shooting sports community.
This was announced after the Executive Committee meeting of ISSF in Rome on 29 November 2024.
Mr. Pawan Singh has been re-elected as a member of the ISSF Judges Committee for an unprecedented fourth consecutive term, highlighting his exceptional experience and dedication. Meanwhile, Mr. Amarjang Singh has achieved a significant milestone by being elected for the first time as a member of the ISSF Shotgun Committee, reflecting his deep understanding and commitment to the sport.
Expressing his delight, NRAI President Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo said, “The election of our officials to these prestigious ISSF Committees is a testament to the confidence the international shooting community places in the competence and expertise of Indian officials. We are immensely proud of Mr. Pawan Singh and Mr. Amarjang Singh for bringing laurels to the NRAI and India.”
The President extended his heartfelt gratitude to the ISSF Executive Committee, especially the ISSF President Mr Luciano Rossy, for their unwavering support and recognition of Indian talent.
Mr Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, President and Mr K Sultan Singh, Secretary General NRAI are in Rome to attend the General Assembly meeting of ISSF, which is scheduled today.
The NRAI remains committed to further strengthening India’s position in global shooting sports and ensuring that its officials continue to contribute to the growth and development of the sport at the international level.
