    NRAI, Sep,04 2025 : All athletes, who wish to change their states, are advised to apply immediately for change of state as no request will be entertained after 30th September 2025.
    The process will reopen only on 1st February 2026 and during the period from 1st October 2025 to 31st January 2026, no athlete will be allowed to change the state.
    This is as per NRAI Match Book Rules.

    NRAI, Sep,01 2025 : It has been decided to allow Group A athletes to shoot non-Olympic event matches during the conduct of Group A selection trials at Bhopal. Group A athletes, who have not yet given their entry for the non-Olympic events may send email to NRAI office for submission of entries. The last date for submission of entries with single entry fee is 5th September 2025. Subsequent to that, entries will be accepted with a triple fee, subject to availability of lanes.

    NRAI, Aug,25 2025 : In continuation of NRAI Notification dated 12th August 2025, it is hereby notified that the said Notification regarding consideration of scores of Selection Trial 4 – Shotgun (Bhatinda, 1st–7th September 2025) under Selection Criteria 2026 stands withdrawn.

    Accordingly, the scores of Selection Trial 4 shall not be counted towards Selection Criteria 2026.

    NRAI, May,01 2025 : The Selection Committee has decided to consider scores of ISSF Junior World Cup, Suhl for those junior shooters who are participating in ISSF Junior World Cup, Suhl in lieu of shotgun Selection Trial No. 2.

    The scores achieved by the junior shooters in ISSF Junior World Cup, Suhl will be considered as the Trial 2 score and scores of such shooters will not be marked as “ZERO”

    In view of this, the NRAI is not conducting any separate Selection Trials for junior shooters (Shotgun). Please refer to the updated Shotgun Calendar on our website.

Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, has led the Indian Shooting community in mourning the passing away of legendary Shooting coach Prof. Sunny Thomas, earlier today at Uzhavoor in the Kottayam district of Kerala. He was 83.     NRAI, Dec,28 2021 : It is observed that shooters are calling NRAI office immediately after filling their Shooter ID details “online”.
    The shooters are requested not to call NRAI immediately after applying the Shooter ID online.

    Your online details will automatically go to your State Rifle Association. On receipt of confirmation, a notification will be sent to you on your email ID.

    On receipt of confirmation from affiliated unit, it will take around 7 to 10 days to verify the details, final approval.

    All are requested to cooperate.

    NRAI,NEW DELHI, Feb,17 2020 : It has come to our notice that some shooters are having multiple shooters are having multiple shooter's IDs registration from the same state or other states.
     
    The Governing Body of NRAI has taken a serious view of the same and has decided to afford an opportunity to all such shooters, who have multiple ID cards, to surrender extra IDs immediately. All such shooters are advised to inform NRAI in writing about details of such additional cards before 15th March 2020 so that the same can be cancelled.
