RULES FOR SELECTION OF SHOOTERS/TEAMS IN BIG BORE EVENTS

The shooters for the following competitions will be selected in Big Bore events:
 
Two shooters for Asian Games 2018 in 300M Standard Rifle 3P Men
One team consist of three shooters per event for ISSF World Championship, Korea in five events. 
 
The norms for selection of shooters  are as under:
 
Scores of 61st NSCC (Big Bore events) being held at Kadarpur, Gurgaon, Haryana from 26th March to 4th April 2018 shall be considered for selection of shooters/teams.

First six shooters, in each event, who participate in open category, during the 61st NSCC, subject to achieving MQS as defined under 17.6 of NRAI Match Book 2016 (amended) shall be eligible to participate in subsequent two selection trials, which will be conducted in June 2018.

The dates and venue of these trials shall be notified on the website of NRAI.

In case of identical score of shooters at sixth place and above, all shooters, having identical score of sixth position, shall be permitted to participate in two selection trials in June 2018.

 After two  selection trials, the average of two high  scores, out of three scores (61 NSCC, Trial 1 and Trial 2)  shall be calculated and ranking will be arrived.

Shooters will be selected based on the ranking achieved by the shooters as per  clause 5 above.

 The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final.
