ISSF Junior World Cup: Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun – Day 3


India close day three with two team Silvers
Suhl, 3rd May 2016: India closed their campaign on the third day of the ISSF Junior World Cup winning two Silver medals in the team events. The ISSF Junior World Cup that is being played at Suhl, Germany from the 1st – 6th May 2016 now has India placed third in the medal’s tally with nine medals to its kitty.

The Indian women’s team of Aashi Rastogi (414.4), Dilreen Gill (412.4) and Prachi Gadkari (412.0) shot a total of 1238.8 to walk away with the Silver Medal in the team event of the 10M Air Rifle Women’s competition. In the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event for men the trio of Shivam Shukla (569), Rushiraj Barot (561) and Aadeithyaa Joahal (545) walked away with the team Silver shooting a total of 1675 points. France with a total of 1684 walked away with the Gold Medal while the Russian Federation had to settle for the Bronze Medal shooting a total of 1674.

The Trap and Skeet events in the Men’s and Women’s category also started today.
