India leads medal tally at the end of Day 2
Suhl, 2nd May 2016: The second day of the Indian contingent at the ISSF Junior World Cup saw more medals being added to the Indian kitty. The Indian junior women won one individual Silver Medal along with a team Silver Medal while the junior boys won a team Bronze Medal today. India now lead the medal’s tally with seven medals to the their kitty at the end of day two.

India walked away with the team Silver medal in the 10M Air Pistol Women event as the trio of Mailaika Goel (378), Yeshaswini Singh Deswal (374) and Gauri Sheoran (370) shot a total of 1122 points. Germany won the Gold Medal with 1129 points while the Russian Federation settled for the Bronze medal with 1117 points. Yeshaswini Singh Deswal also walked away with the individual Silver Medal in the same category shooting a total of 197.7 points.

The Indian trio of Gaurav Rana(574), Hemendra Kushwah (569) and Arjun Das (565) won the team Bronze at the 10M Air Pistol Men event shooting a total of 1708 points. The Italian team walked away with the Gold Medal shooting 1711 points while the Russian Federation team won the Silver Medal shooting a total of 1710 points.
